Paying for more than Pretty

Think for a moment about how you got here. Did you follow a link off of Facebook? Did you stumble upon this article through a search engine? Did my Mom tell you to check out her sweet son's beautifully written blog? (Stop Mom, you're embarrassing me!) There is a reason the internet is called the World Wide Web, because everything is connected, and all roads lead to...your home page, hopefully.

When you pay to have a website created, for your business, band, or brand, you are paying for more than a pretty face. At least, you should be. Your website is  marketing tool that links customers directly to your products or brand. And more so now than ever, it is usually their first impression of your business. People are walking around with the internet in their pocket. No one cares anymore about going over cell phone minutes, or using all their text messages this month, They are all worried about going over their data limits. Why? Because when they have a question pop in their head, now they can pull out their phone and Google it and have the answer immediately.

Now this question may seem weird coming from a total stranger, but.. When was the last time you Googled yourself? Because, whether you know it or not, people are out there Googling you or your competition. Even worse, they may be Googling you and getting to your competition. Google has recently changed their ordering policies based on if your webpage is responsive (automatically formats to the device's screen size it is being viewed on) or not. So say you and another company sell a similar product, and someone searches for that product. If their website is responsively designed and yours is not, then they will rank higher than you in the search engine lists and more than likely will get the business instead of you.

That's why we look at each customer and assess their individual needs. You may have a wonderfully designed website that just needs some updating and/or tweaking to make it more responsive. You may be struggling with keeping your website updated and would like it  redesigned or moved to a more accessible service. We do more than give your website a pretty face.

Your website should be an investment, not just another expense.
